Dry Creek Stream Restoration
Sonoma County, CA

EBA was responsible for the preparation and monitoring of a construction Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) for the Dry Creek Stream Restoration (Stage III). The project was overseen by the Army Corp of Engineers.

To ensure compliance with the requirements of the Construction General Permit, EBA prepared a SWPPP, Notice of Intents (NOI’s), annual reports, and provided storm water inspections, monitoring, and sampling during construction. The SWPPP included detailed information and procedures that ensured storm water quality on each construction site. Such information included project descriptions and construction procedures, site risk assessments, guidelines for the use of Best Management Practices (BMPs), site maps showing BMPs installation and monitoring locations, as well as a Construction Site Monitoring Program (CSMP).

The SWPPP was implemented during construction. Inspections, monitoring, and sampling were performed which included weekly site visits, obtaining precipitation event forecasts from the National Weather Service, writing and initiating Rain Event Action Plans (REAPs), and collecting storm water samples according to the CSMP.
