Round Barn Soil & Groundwater Investigation, Remediation & Case Closure
Santa Rosa, CA

EBA was contracted to perform multiple phases of environmental investigations and subsequent remedial action associated with a significant historical release of petroleum hydrocarbons.  EBA performed several subsurface investigations to delineate the extent of soil and groundwater contamination which would require remedial action and oversaw the excavation of over 2,000 tons of contaminated soil which was hauled to an offsite landfill for disposal.

EBA then performed a groundwater investigation including the advancement of a soil boring to 50 feet BGS for the collection and chemical analysis of groundwater samples.  EBA also conducted a Sensitive Receptor Survey and prepared a comprehensive Case Closure Evaluation Report.  We additionally prepared a Soil and Groundwater Management Plan to ensure appropriate administrative mechanisms were in place for future ground disturbing activities in areas where residual contamination remained. The North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board subsequently issued a case closure letter for no further action.
