Landfill Expansion
EBA was responsible for the master planning of a 115-acre landfill with a capacity to process 1,200 tons per day.
EBA provided the preparation of permitting documents that included a Joint Technical Document (JTD) for a Solid Waste Facility Permit from Cal Recycle and a Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) permit from the local Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB).
EBA also prepared other planning documents, including an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) in accordance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) process.
EBA conducted the final design and construction of the 630-acre Subtitle D lined expansion. Tasks performed as part of this expansion included geologic hazardous mapping, composite liner design, static and dynamic stability analyses.
EBA additionally provided construction management and Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) inspections and certification during the construction of various stages of the expansion.
