Gasoline Service Station Environmental Remediation

EBA performed environmental characterization and remediation in Graton, CA. The site was previously used as a gasoline service station. EBA defined the lateral and vertical extents of impacts through the use of hollow stem and Sonic drilling methodologies. Multi-chamber wells were also installed as part of site characterization. EBA provided engineered drawings for remedial design and managed all construction activities. An ozone sparging system was installed at the site which required numerous permitting and regulatory activities. The remediation was successful in the destruction of recalcitrant petroleum hydrocarbons. The site has been obtained case closure with no further action.
