Pre- Construction Hazardous Materials Assessment

EBA was contracted by the City of Santa Rosa Public Works Department to conduct pre-construction hazardous materials assessment for a sewer and water replacement within Midway and Mogawan Drives in Santa Rosa, California.

The work scope included preparation of a work plan, site health and safety plan and permitting through the Sonoma County Department of Environmental Health.

EBA performed in-situ soil profiling by installing soil borings for the purpose of collecting soil and groundwater samples to characterize the in place materials prior to the replacement of the existing materials.

The work scope objective was to characterize the materials for landfill acceptance and worker safety requirements related to the utility replacement activities

This project was conducted with oversight from the North Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board and the City of Santa Rosa Fire Department.
