Environmental Characterization of Warehouse Site

EBA performed environmental characterization and remediation services for a private client at a warehouse property. EBA first investigated the environmental condition through a boring program which led to additional investigation. EBA supervised UST removal and overexcavation. EBA then conducted DPE pilot testing for the removal of mass under the building and in areas inaccessible to excavation.  EBA prepared a remedial action plan which recommended DPE and OS remedial technologies. A DPE and OS system was installed at the site which required numerous permitting and regulatory activities. Continuous air sampling of the warehouse sub-slab was required during ozone injection. The remediation has been successful in the removal of petroleum hydrocarbons and has obtained case closure.
